We arrange free preventive health checkup and diagnostic camps for the poor and disadvantaged people so that we can prevent diseases like diabetes. We also conduct blood donation drives. Educational seminars on topics like menstrual health, healthy eating habits, Yoga, etc. are also some of our actions. We also focus on mental health counseling for children and disability-friendly assistance services for the disabled. This is in accordance with the UN SDG 3 that ensures healthy lives and promotes well-being for all at all ages.
We help schools upgrade their infrastructure by building toilets, drinking water facilities, playgrounds, etc. and providing desks, chairs, and boards. We also help with providing schools with edtech hardware such as projectors and interactive smartboards. Another area of focus in providing scholarships and sponsorships for disadvantaged students. This is in accordance with UN SDG 4 which ensures inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
We set up daily meals centers where fresh, warm, and nutritious food can be provided to vulnerable groups such as homeless people, orphans and old-age home residents. We also distribute ration kits that include grains, oil, blankets, and other necessities for disadvantaged people. Grocery support and biogas are some of the other provisions we try to provide. This is in accordance with two of the UN SDGs: SDG 1 which is to end poverty and SDG 2 which is to end hunger.
We conduct various interventions in rural areas such as educating farmers about integrated water management, constructing safe drinking water and sanitation facilities, improving agriculture productivity and livelihoods of small and marginal farmers, rural school renovations, strengthening village institutions, life skills, digital and financial literacy programs. This is in accordance with various SDGs, with SDG 2 and SDG 11 (making human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable) being the most prominent.
We help in the conservation and maintanence of buildings and sites that are of historical importance to our country. We also focus on promoting traditional Indian arts and handicrafts among all sections of the Indian society. This is also in accordance with SDG 11 which calls for strengthening the efforts to protect and safeguard the world’s cultural and natural heritage.
We help by constructing, renovating, and maintaining of sporting facilities such as grounds, stadiums, and gymnasiums. We also focus on promoting sports to underprivileged youth and encouraging them to participate more. Financial aid and scholarships for disadvantaged atheletes and players are other focus areas. This is in accordance with the UN SDG 11 that calls for making human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable.
We help disadvantaged and economically weaker sections of society who reside in slums by giving them livelihood development training. We also develop the area by upgrading their infrastructure which include houses, toilets, roads, and other sanitation facilities. Tribal people are also a primary focus and we help them financially and help them to access health and education facilities. This is in accordance with SDG 11 and SDG 10 which calls for reduced inequalities.
